As Graduate Assistants (Teaching and Research Assistants), we work hard as both students and employees of the University of Florida. We deserve decent wages, good working conditions, and respect for our work. That’s what Graduate Assistants United (GAU) is about. For three decades, GAU has been our recognized voice, our means of fighting for what we deserve. Through GAU, we negotiate a union contract that protects our rights as employees of UF. We also bargain for employment benefits.
