University of Florida Beat Tennessee Voter Challenge
In 2020, more than 87% of University of Florida students were registered to vote, and by Election Day, 76% of the student body had turned out to make their voice heard. Our voting rate is a full 10 points ahead of the national average.
This year, our mission is to beat Tennessee, on the field, and at the polls.
We need students, faculty, staff and the entire Gator Nation to take the Beat Tennessee Voter Challenge.
It’s as easy as 1-2-3.

- Check your voter registration status. Ensure that you are registered to vote – if you’re not . . .
- Register to vote. Register to vote either at UF, or back home. In general, it’s usually easiest to register and vote where you live. UF students may claim residency at UF, or at their prior address, mostly likely their parents’ address ‘back home.’
- Enroll in TurboVote for important election reminders. The school with the most TurboVote enrollments wins!
Remember: Your enrollment helps us ‘beat them Vols’ in more ways than one. But don’t wait. The challenge ends at midnight on September 23, 2022.
