UF-GAU Accessibility Aid Rental Program
Thanks to a grant from a graduate assistant, Laken Brooks, UF-GAU has 15 accessibility items available for graduate students to rent starting Fall 2022!
Applications for the rentals open Monday, August 22, 2022.
Aids will be distributed on a first-come basis based on applications received. Aids must be picked up in the UF-GAU Office in 224 Yon Hall during our Fall 2022 office hours.
Rentals are on a semester-to-semester basis. You must renew your rental with UF-GAU every semester!
Graduate students are permitted to rent up to two (2) accessibility items per semester.
Before returning items to the UF-GAU office, please delete all data or accounts from the devices. (This is particularly relevant for the iPads and the Google Nest.)
Items must be returned with all chargers, dongles, or accessories they included when you took them home. If a device is returned without any accessories the student will be held liable for all costs of replacing the items through their Bursar account.
